Major Kitchen Remodel

This project sample started with a dated 1989 kitchen that was only an 8 ft. x 14 ft. galley design. After the design was completed, a hallway wall that was creating the narrow galley was demolished adding an additional 6 feet to the original 8 foot width. During demolition the second floor utilities the wall housed were relocated to another wall. The ceiling and flooring were then demolished and the new electrical and plumbing that would support the new kitchen equipment were added. The picture above shows the completed project which includes warm natural cherry cabinets topped with dark brown/green granite. The flooring is 3 1/2” red oak plank with a satin finish. The appliances are top of the line stainless with a large Thermador range and separate second convection oven and warming drawer in the center island. Grohe hardware adds the final touch. The wine bar has a separate small under counter wine cooler.
